I bought this because my flat screen TV's sound is kinda weird. I have a/c in the windows so the fan is loud. The TV sound goes up, but at a certain point it does not increase very much. So I got the sound bar hoping it would do better. It does.It has a great sound coming from it, you can tell it's louder than the TV and blends in with the TV so it's almost invisible. (Black on black)I wanted a wireless sub woofer, but the ones I looked at cost more than I was willing to spend, not sure if they would do what I wanted. Most of them had their own remotes also. I like that this one is controlled by my TV remote.My only complaint is when I mute the TV, depending on how long it's muted, the sound bar goes off also and can take up to 15 seconds (it seems) to come back on. During that time I can barely hear the TV and might miss something.But overall I'm very happy with the purchase.

After searching around for the best deal on a soundbar with subwoofer this one fit the bill, sounds good and adjusting with the tv's volume is a nice feature, though is is important to note if your tv does not have a variable audio out (meaning when you plug in aux speakers, the tv volume changes that volume, most are constant meaning these speakers will NOT work)PROS:-slimline design-auto on/off-sounds goodCONS:-unit gives a constant hissing sound, even with no audio source playing. Thought it was defective but after receiving my replacement it makes the same sound, annoying but if the volume is up enough you dont hear it-auto on/off isnt sensitive enough to stay on at low volumes, when i turn my tv down to night time listening levels, the unit turns off unless i turn it up, which is kind of annoyingOverall, for a bedroom unit or something along those lines I would recommend this unit, but for so much for the main living room.

I purchased this to go with the Toshiba 47TL515U 47-Inch Natural 3D 1080p 240 Hz LED-LCD HDTV with Net TV, Blackthat I purchased and knowing the sound quality was going to be lackluster, go this unit. It's a decent system (for what it is). The look of the system is nice, and it's pretty inconspicuous. The sound bar itself has a low profile which leaves the IR sensor on the TV clear. Additionally, through the ARC HDMI connection, the TV remote controls the sound bar. The subwoofer looks pretty decent as well, and leaves a small footprint.Set up was easy and took about ten minutes. The performance of the unit is admirable. There is no way to adjust the settings (bass, treble, etc) but for me, it strikes a happy medium. The sound quality, while not at the standards of the Bose Cinemate system, is pretty decent for the price. I have not experienced any issues with this unit like some of the other reviewers. If you are looking for an improvement over the TV speakers, and you have realistic expectations of what this unit can do, I think you will be pleased.
