If you are looking for a way of increasing the volume of your built-in TV speakers and not looking to spend too much money, this is for you. The sound quality is good--I'm not an audiophile by any means, but the sound is clear, crisp, and free of static.Pros:- Optical input, 3.5mm headphone input- Bluetooth audio (Works great for listening to music from a phone, crisp and clear audio within range... about 30-40 feet and then it starts to go in/out and crackle).- Size is perfect, it's not too long and it isn't tall enough to block the remote when in front of the TV.Cons:- If you turn the volume up all the way the sound does start to clip and sound bad, but it is loud enough before reaching that point.- The 'surround sound' does not sound very good to me. It seems like it just turns on an echo... although it does give you the feeling of being a movie theater, I don't like it.

I picked one up for under $100 and really wanted this to work out, but as I compared it to my existing setup, it just didn't compare.Pros:Compact, good width especially for a 32" TVPassive Subwoofer - no need for power, auto shut-offSeveral connection options including BluetoothEasy to setup and useCan get very loudCons:The louder it gets the more it "screams" in a bad way. The highs are way too bright and the mids just do not have enough claritySubwoofer just sounds way too boomy - not enough crisp punch. Probably due to the woofer size and lack of powerMy existing setup may not get as loud, but that is not an issue for a smaller room like a bedroom, den or small living room. I have the Vizio VSB207BT soundbar and Yamaha YST-SW012 subwoofer. Overall, it is a crazy difference in sound quality. The sub makes this system sound great. Alone the sound bar is average. It is worth the premium over this system.

Bluetooth feature is cool, but the sound quality is terrible. Starts to crackle when the sound is even slightly turned up. Wish I had spent a little more for a better product. The crackling sound makes this sound bar unusable, and I prefer my built in TV speakers over this. Waste of money. The surround sound feature is a joke. Sounds like circus tent sound.
